CAIRNS / LIZARD ISLAND |

Flying from Cairns, your aircraft remains at low level affording wonderful views of the Ribbon Reefs. After just one hour in the air, you reach your haven, Lizard Island. |

DAY 2: |
LIZARD ISLAND / RIBBON REEFS |
|||||
|
This remote island offers some of the finest diving in the world. Untrammelled and therefore unspoilt, the reef is colourful and the marine life abundant. Today you embark on a full day’s private diving or snorkelling charter. Your vessel is a 51 foot Flybridge Cruiser that provides the perfect platform for snorkelling and fishing. Your captain will show you some wonderful locations that are within easy reach of the island. The day will be tailored to your specific interests. Your skipper will ensure that you are taken to the best locations for both diving and fishing. The exact location will be dependent on the weather on the day. Dive the spectacular drop offs on the edge of the outer barrier reef and the sensational coral bommie gardens which abound on the leeward side of the Ribbon Reefs. The Cod Hole, famed for its family of potato grouper and Maori wrasse, is sure to provide the highlight of your reef experience (weather permitting). |

DAYS 3 - 4: |
LIZARD ISLAND |

These days are free for you to explore the island and your idyllic surrounds: Climb Cook’s Look (the island’s highest point) for a stunning view over the Coral Sea back to the mainland, or take a picnic lunch and your own private dinghy to one of the islands 24 secluded beaches. Snorkel the fringing reef around the island, take a glass bottom boat ride, or partake in a variety of non-motorised water sports at your disposal. |

Today you bid farewell to island life and board your plane for your flight to Cairns, and continue with your Australian adventure.
