Zambezi Trek and Paddle (Sept 2011)

Brad Horn filmed this footage of a "trek and paddle" safari he guided last month.  The group flew into Mana Pools National Park in the Zambezi Valley where they commenced their three and a bit day trek covering a total of around eighty kilometres.  They had a two night "spell" at the beautiful Ruckomechi Camp before paddling back down the river over two days to the start point.  There are few safaris that come close to this for adrenalin and action.  The old saying, "from a vehicle you see Africa but on foot you feel Africa" never holds truer than in this case.  Mindblowing!

Family Safari - Botswana (July 2011)

Brad Horn filmed this footage on a recent safari to Botswana's fabled Okavango Delta with an extended family group. Although the safari was only five nights, as you will see it was action packed with some incredible game experiences. July is a peak time in the Okavango and although it can be a little chilly in the early mornings, the game viewing more than makes up for it.
Family Safari - Tanzania and Rwanda (June 2011)

This is a preview of a recent journey to Tanzania and Rwanda with a great family from DC guided by Brad Horn. What a safari - great company, great game and lifetime memories. This video shows some incredible gorilla interactions in Rwanda and the migration in Tanzania.
Botswana - Trans Okavango (May 2011)

Brad Horn, Managing Director, participated in and filmed this epic journey to Botswana.  It incorporated a visit to the Kalahari Desert followed by a transect of the Okavango by boat from north to south. The old phrase referring to the Okavango as a "sea of land and a land of water" becomes very apparent when you take to its pristine waterways. For the adventurous traveller a trans-Okavango has few peers.
Family Safari - Botswana & Zambia (July 2010)

Taken by Managing Director Brad Horn while privately guiding a family through Zambia and Botswana, this video includes great game interaction; including a cheetah kill, a couple of wonderful sightings of the highly endangered wild dog, leopard on a kill, along with numerous fantastic experiences with elephants.
Wonders of Southern Africa - Botswana, Namibia & Zambia

This video footage was personally shot by Brad Horn. The bulk of the footage is taken in Botswana with snippets of Namibia and Zambia. Whilst it is not all encompassing by any means, it is designed to provide an insight into what a typical safari entails; the varied landscapes, flora and fauna, culture and activities.
Family Safari - Tanzania (June)

Taken by Managing Director Brad Horn while privately guiding a family throughout East Africa, this video highlights the natural splendour and action of the Great Migration and the pristine sands of Zanzibar.

Family Safari - Tanzania (December)

A family safari through the iconic Serengeti and Ruaha National Parks in Tanzania. This trip took place in December and is typical (minus the rain!) of what splendours East Africa has to offer. Expert guides, fabulous wildlife encounters and authentic cultural experiences provide the ultimate trip when travelling with Epic Private Journeys.

Summit of Kilimanjaro

To summit Mt Kilimanjaro, the world’s tallest free-standing mountain at just under 6,000 m (20,000 ft), on a breathless, blue sky dawn, surely rates as one of life’s great experiences.
Zambezi Trek & Paddle

Enter adrenalin central as you trek and paddle the lower reaches of the mighty Zambezi River. Big game encounters will be the order of the day.
Epic Lion Footage - Botswana

Taken by Brad Horn, sought after Private Guide, on a recent safari in Botswana, we offer you a snippet of this footage showing the battle between a pride of lions and two buffalo.  (Turn away if squeamish.)
